1st competition of the FEI Jumping World Championship (Team & Individual Qualifier)
Jumping speed competition
Faults are penalised in seconds that are added to the time taken by the rider to complete their round.
The score obtained by each rider will be converted into points by multiplying the time of each rider by the coefficient 0.5.
Open to all riders declared as starters for the Team or as Individuals, maximum of four per National Federation, with one horse each.

Jumping Competition with two rounds

Round one, Thursday 20/08/2026
Round two (under floodlight), Friday 21/08/2026
Round one is open only to the rider/horse combinations, which have taken part in the first competition.
Round two is open only to the ten best teams after the first round and those teams with equality of penalties for 10th place and the 60 best placed riders (plus those tied for 60th place) according to their classification following the first competition and round one of the second competition.
Two rounds not against the clock with a jump-off against the clock in case of teams tied on penalties for first place following the first and second competitions.

FEI Jumping World Championship – Team

Teams that participate in round two of the second competition receive their placing by adding the penalties incurred by the three best riders of each team in the first competition and penalties incurred by the three best riders in each of the two rounds of the second competition.
The team that has obtained the least number of penalties after the first and second competition will be placed first and declared World Team Champion.

Round A: Open to the 25 best placed riders and horses (including those placed equal for 25th place) according to the cumulative penalties over the first and second competitions.
Round B: Open to the 12 best placed riders and horses according to the cumulative penalties over the first and second competitions and Round A of the third competition.
Over two different successive rounds not against the clock.

FEI Jumping World Championship – Individual

Riders receive their overall placing by adding the penalties incurred in the first, second and third competitions. The rider with the lowest number of penalties will be declared FEI World Champion.
In the event of equality of penalties for first place in the overall classification for the FEI World Championship, there will be a jump-off against the clock.
